01
Emergency call
You call (833) 321-7153 and describe what happened. We ask about the water source, how long it has been running, and whether the area is safe to enter. If there is a sewage backup or a live electrical hazard, we walk you through shutting off the water and power before we arrive.
02
Inspection and assessment
Our IICRC WRT technician walks the property with a moisture meter, thermal imaging camera, and boroscope inspection camera. We map the water migration path, check for hidden moisture behind baseboards and inside wall cavities, and identify the source. This usually takes 20 to 40 minutes.
03
Water extraction
We bring in truck-mounted water extraction units and portable extractors to pull standing water from carpets, hard floors, and crawl spaces. For deep carpet saturation, we use weighted extraction tools that press water out of the padding. Most residential extraction jobs take two to four hours.
04
Structural drying
After extraction, we position air movers and dehumidifiers to dry the structure. We may use desiccant dehumidification in tight spaces like crawl spaces or closets. Drying typically runs three to five days, and we check moisture levels daily with a hygrometer to confirm progress.
05
Final verification
We take final moisture readings and compare them to dry standard for your building materials. When everything is within range, we remove the equipment and provide a completion report with photos and readings. If you need antimicrobial solution applied to prevent mold growth after water damage, we handle that before we leave.
